We have developed a stand-alone lubrication control and condition monitoring app which provides comprehensive operational support for anyone involved in the lubrication culture. The app provides photographic and visual identification for all lubrication points, an optimised schedule of tasks and reporting of conformance on task completion. It enables 24 / 7, 365 days per year access to current snapshot and historical for all lubrication points on site.
Training for a site’s nominated Lubrication Champions is provided through the app, which employs a line-side tablet (provided) for operators to record start-up lubrication.
Insights gained from use of the Precision Lubrication App enable us to perform effective Lubrication Improvement Projects. We can provide onsite support on any asset that you would like to improve reliability on, e.g. reduce PPM’s, increase service intervals, etc. Lubrication engineers conduct a site visit, assess current maintenance methods and look at all options for optimisation.
These cover a complete range of possibilities, for example changing existing product to a ‘lubricant for life’, automatic lubrication systems, piping out the points, redesign of components or seals, lubrication optimisation through condition monitoring and other problem-solving techniques. We then provide a full report with recommended actions and cost benefit analysis.
